With genuine curiosity we'll ask you where you're from, where you're going, who are your 'people'; where are they from.......it's something built into our genes; we'll find those 6 degrees of separation regardless of how long it takes and in the meantime we'll have a few drinks just to make it sociable!

Our bar and award winning carvery are open every day from midday and we also do a mean brasserie menu if you're looking for an informal dinner option. The staff will ensure you're looked after and if you need any advise with onward travel plans that's what we're here for.

We also have some of the best festivals and events outside of Dublin like Puck Fair in nearby Killorglin, it's one of the oldest fairs in Ireland, no one knows quite how old but there's references dating back to the 1700's.
Other major events are the Ring of Kerry cycle race in July each year which is a 175km race involving thousands of participants. BikeFest in June, Rally of the Lakes in August, Christmas in Killarney and many more.
If it's solitude and reflection you're after there are 10,000km of national park on our doorstep and hiring a bicycle and taking a trip around the lakes can take up an hour or all day depending on how fit and reflective you really feel!
